Buy A Cage
Cubes and coroplast cages were originally invented by a guinea pig rescue in California. They are the best cages for guinea pigs because they provide ample space and air circulation, they can be expanded to fit your current needs, and they are very inexpensive and easy to make! To learn more about cubes and coroplast cages please visit Cavy Cages.
The only downside to these great cages is that finding and transporting the materials can be difficult because the coroplast comes in 4' x 8' sheets so if you don't have the time to build a cage yourself, let FFGPR do it for you! We require that all adopters use C&C cages (or cages of equal size) and so as a service to adopters, FFGPR now makes and sells cubes and coroplast cage kits! The kits come with the coroplast already cut and scored and the grids ready to connect.
Each kit contains:
- coroplast ------(cut and scored to the designated cage size)
- grids ------------(enough to make the designated cage size)
- hayrack--------(made using 2 grids)
- zip ties --------(to make the cage extra durable)
- top---------------(optional)
